While I work with a variety of concerns, many clients often come to me to address the following areas in therapy.

Relationship Anxiety

Relationships can evoke various emotions, shedding light on the beliefs we hold about ourselves. Many of my clients experience anxiety while navigating relationships and dating finding themselves worried about the future of the relationship, fearing rejection, questioning their partner’s feelings, overthinking little interactions, or seeking reassurance. If this sounds like you, maybe you are looking for a path to start show up differently in your relationships, feeling grounded and safe.

Together, we'll embark on a journey, tapping into the profound wisdom of your body, mind, and spirit where your emotions and old beliefs live stemming from early experiences in relationships. I may help you do this through somatic exercises, or deep and curious questioning about your past and present experiences.

Codependency & People Pleasing

Do you often feel the need to "fix" or solve others’ problems? Do you derive your self-worth in your ability to emotionally caretake? I help clients understand how the urge to please can hinder genuine connection and increase burnout.

Together, we cultivate self-acceptance and identify boundaries, empowering you to prioritize self-care and authentic connections. We will do this by looking at your role in the relational dynamic, understanding your own wants and needs, and strengthening your communication skills.

Inner Child Work

Inner child work in therapy is a gentle, compassionate process of connecting with the younger parts of yourself that may still be holding onto unmet needs, fears, or emotional pain. As a therapist, I help create a safe space where you can begin to listen to that inner voice with curiosity rather than judgment. Through this work, we explore where those old wounds might still be impacting your present life and begin the process of reparenting—offering yourself the care, support, and validation you may not have received when you needed it most. It’s a tender path toward healing, self-trust, and emotional wholeness

Body Image and Eating Disorders

Do you find yourself consumed by thoughts about your body? Is the constant comparison and fear of weight gain dominating your headspace?

I'm here to support you in breaking free from the harmful grip of diet culture, fostering self-compassion, and navigating your eating disorder and body dissatisfaction. My approach is rooted in embracing an anti-diet philosophy, Health At Every Size® (HAES), and fostering body neutrality to help you cultivate acceptance.

Together, we'll explore the specific behaviors and beliefs surrounding your body and food, and find ways to address them. We'll also delve into how these patterns may serve as protective mechanisms in the past to manage emotions and regain a sense of control.

Couples Therapy

Do you and your partner feel like two ships in the night, drifting further apart despite your best efforts to connect? Maybe you have revisited the same conflict over and over. I utilize EFT, emotionally-focused couple therapy, to support you in understanding how your unmet attachment needs may be playing into your dynamic while also:

strengthening emotional intimacy: reconnect with your partner on a deeper level, fostering understanding and shared vulnerability

creating a safe space for difficult conversations: learn effective communication skills to address concerns constructively and navigate challenging conversations with empathy and respect

Grief

Grief work in therapy is about honoring the depth of your pain while reminding you that you don’t have to carry it alone. Whether you’re grieving a loss, a life transition, or something that never was, your pain is valid—and it matters. In our work together, we create space for your grief to be witnessed with compassion, without needing to rush or fix it. Grief is isolating, and it also holds the potential to open us, soften us, and guide us toward deeper connection—with ourselves, with others, and with what truly matters.

Perfectionism

For as long as you can remember, you've been the high-achiever—the one who always seems to have it all together and is known for offering the best advice. But now, maintaining that perfect image is taking its toll. You're feeling drained from constantly giving so much of yourself and striving to meet your own impossibly high standards. It’s as if you’re caught in a relentless cycle of self-criticism and burnout, struggling to manage your anxiety and break free from the weight of your expectations.

Together, we get to the root of your perfectionism, through exploring family dynamics, potential worthiness wounds, and how to begin to soften your inner critic through building your self-compassion and helping you lean into more flexibility and away from cognitive rigidity.

Eldest Daughter Therapy

In therapy, we create space to unpack how the eldest daughter role has shaped your identity, boundaries, and relationships. The process can be deeply validating, offering tools to set healthier limits, reconnect with personal needs, and release the pressure of holding it all together. Ultimately, therapy can help eldest daughters rewrite their narrative—from one of quiet self-sacrifice to empowered self-connection.

Faith-based Counseling and Spirituality

As a Christian, one of my niches, is helping clients explore their faith as a source of strength and resilience in their healing journey. I also understand how individuals come into therapy with adverse experiences with their faith and spirituality and will meet you where you are. With a population of more than 8 million, New York somehow can feel lonely and isolating, especially if you are a Christian and are looking to deepen your faith. I am passionate about helping clients explore their faith as a source of strength and resilience in their healing journey.

For those who identify as Christian, and consider faith to be at the core of their personhood, we can integrate scriptural wisdom and spiritual values into the therapy process, supporting you in living a values-aligned life. This can offer you a unique space for to explore the intersections of faith and mental well-being.
